TE KARAKA LODGE RETREAT

P

A CREATIVE WRITING RETREAT IN THE WAIKATO

An intimate weekend of creative writing workshops and individualised support for writers working on a novel, short story, essay or memoir project.

Writers Practice is launching a new small group retreat series. These Retreats will support the ongoing funding of scholarships and subsidised places for Writers Practice and XX Paula? And/or we keep like this? I am working out what might be the best option but we could definitely get the other content sorted and then I can work on this framing!

These Retreats will be held around the country offering craft, community and connection in a luxury environment. Our first Retreat will be held from 20 to 22 September 2024 with award-winning writer and teacher Paula Morris who will be teaching a weekend on advancing your novel, short story, essay or memoir project.

Held at the luxury Te Karaka Lodge, you’ll have the chance to delve into your work, make connections and relax away from the hustle and bustle in this contemporary rural farmstay.

The retreat will incorporate workshops, one-on-one support, group discussions and the chance to connect with your fellow writers or relax in the tranquil environment of the rural Waikato.

The Retreat fee includes all workshops, one-on-one support, meals and accommodation during the weekend. Single or twin rooms available. If you have someone you’d like to share a room with, please specify their name when you sign up. Limit to 15 participants.

PAULA TO ADD IN MORE ABOUT THE ACTUAL SUBJECT MATTER / CONTENT. I’ll put this on a separate page once you share some content with me.

I can also do another page like I have for the Retreat –
