Humour has the unusual effect of stopping or slowing the narrative. Used in the right way it can also sweeten areas that are dark or political.

In this workshop, we will be looking at the ways humour can be used in literature, and methods you can use to incorporate it into narratives. We will look at the use of humour in writing, including its historical use, satire (Juvenalian vs Horatian), ethics, and discourse.

Limit of 12 participants. Please fill out this form to apply for a scholarship.
