We would like to offer all 2024 Kāpiti Writers’ Retreat participants the option to undertake a one-off coaching session with one of this year’s teaching writers.
This is a great chance to further develop work you started in your workshop or discuss something that came up to do with your work or career development after the Retreat.
At this stage, you can book a session with Cassie Hart, Ingrid Horrocks, Catherine Cooper, Isa Pearl Ritchie, Sasha Francis or Kirsten Le Harivel. Please note that Ingrid, Isa and Cassie are currently only available for participants of their respective workshops.
The aim of the session is to provide a chance for you to reflect, work on and/or develop a conversation or idea sparked during the workshop or at the Retreat or look for next steps for your work.
The 45-minute session will be held on Google Video Conferencing. You can book your session via the link below. Please note that payment is required when you book.
At least two days prior to the session, you will need to provide:
- A brief summary (one or two sentences) of what you are writing or intend to write
- A short sample (up to 500 words) of the work to be discussed
- Anything specific requested by the coach (noted in the calendar scheduler for each coach)
- Anything you’d like to share about what you hope to get out of the session or which would be helpful to know in advance.
